SCARLET SPIRAL EARRINGS

Hello again!!!! Long time no see!
Here's another free pattern - simple earrings with a bit of bling! Hope you like them & will give them a go! :o)

SCARLET SPIRAL EARRINGS

Terminology  -  American
Hook Size - 1.75 mm

Thread - 8m Anchor silky cotton thread - 2 strands, colours of you choice.

Abbreviations:

CH - Chain
SC - Single Crochet

Using two contrasting threads of your choice (I used Scarlet & Rose Pink),CH 20.
SC twice into 2nd CH from the hook & in each CH across.
Fasten off leaving a tail of about 15cms (5.5 inches) to enable the application of a bead/beads.
Thread the tail through a needle & slide a bead/beads down to the base of the tail. Thread the needle back down through the beads leaving a very small loop above the top bead on which to attach a hook. Weave the needle through the threads just beneath the bead/beads, knot & fasten off.
Attach an earring hook.
